Getting really pumped for Euro 2012.
I don’t expect England to even get out of the group stage, nor do I actually like most of the players in our squad (in fact in our entire 23-man squad, I only like 6 players) but despite all that, I still remain passionate about England. I probably always will.

My boy Defoe made good as usual. Yet another of those 25-yard strikes he belts so well. I love this man.

Jermaine Defoe Celebrates second goal of the game

His goals against Wolves were superb. He’s the best he’s been since coming back from his injury and he just gets better and better, yet it’s obvious the only reason he even started on Saturday is because Redknapp was resting Crouch for tomorrow’s Champions League game. Defoe constantly plays second fiddle to Crouch and it’s crazy. Defoe is miles better than Crouch, country miles better.
Last night I read an interview with Defoe where he said he almost left in January because he was tired of never being picked to start. If he leaves, we’re left with basically nothing up front. Crouch can’t create goals on his own and Pav is too hit and miss (no pun intended) - probably through a lack of being played.
I love you Harry Redknapp, but get your shit together. This boy leaves and we’re fucked.
